Burton Learn To Ride
Burton Learn To Ride Program (Ages 7 & Older)
Chestnut has teamed up with Burton to provide new riders with a solid foundation to build their skills. The Learn To Ride (LTR) program has been
developed by a team of knowledgeable professionals in the snowboarding industry to make learning to snowboard easy and fun.
General Details
Burton Snowboards, with help from the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI), the Canadian Association of
Snowboard Instructors (CASI), and rental shops around the globe have joined forces to develop and test a learning program that
really works. Burton has developed boards, boots, and bindings specifically designed for the beginner rider and have tested
these products with real people in real lessons. All elements of the Learn To Ride Center are designed by riders for riders - from equipment setup,
to instruction, to appropriate learning terrain. The ultimate goal of LTR is to eliminate the stressful pressures of learning
a new sport. They want beginners to feel comfortable enough on a board to be linking turns on their very first day out.
